🎲 Random Joke

Get a random joke from any category (respects 18+ settings).

Commands:

What you get:

  • If 18+ content is enabled: Random joke from all categories (50/50 clean or adult)
  • If 18+ content is disabled: Only clean jokes (dad, knock-knock, one-liners)

Classic dad jokes - always clean and family-friendly!

🎨 How Jokes Work

AI Persona Styling

All jokes are rephrased and styled by the AI based on the current persona before delivery.

Example:

  • Raw joke: "Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field."
  • Persona-styled: "Yo, why'd the scarecrow get that award? Dude was absolutely outstanding in his field! 😂"

The bot adapts the joke to match the persona's personality, tone, and slang.

Emote Integration

Emotes are automatically added based on the persona's emote settings:

  • Light usage: 1-2 emotes per joke
  • Moderate usage: 2-3 emotes per joke
  • Heavy usage: 3+ emotes per joke

Repetition Prevention

The bot tracks recently used jokes to prevent repetition. After all jokes in a category are used, it resets and starts over.

⚙️ 18+ Content Settings

How to Enable/Disable

Only the streamer can enable or disable 18+ content:

  1. Go to the dashboard
  2. Open Persona Studio
  3. Edit the active persona
  4. Toggle "Allow Swearing/18+ Content"
  5. Save changes

What Happens When Disabled?

If you request an adult joke but 18+ content is disabled:

  • You'll get a clean joke instead
  • The bot might add a snarky comment about the restriction

💡 Tips

  • Be specific: Want a dad joke? Say "dad joke" - don't just say "joke"
  • Try different categories: Each category has its own style
  • Check 18+ settings: If adult jokes aren't working, the streamer may have disabled them
  • Use natural language: "tell me a joke" works just as well as "joke"

📊 Joke Library Stats

  • Total Jokes: 1,050+ jokes across all categories
  • Clean Jokes: 323+ (dad, knock-knock, one-liners)
  • Adult Jokes: 727+ (adult, pickup lines, adult knock-knock, dark)
  • Repetition Prevention: Tracks up to 50 recently used jokes per category

🆘 Troubleshooting

Problem: Adult jokes aren't working

  • Solution: The streamer needs to enable 18+ content in persona settings

Problem: Getting the same jokes repeatedly

  • Solution: The bot tracks recent jokes. After 50+ jokes, it resets and starts over

Problem: Joke doesn't match the persona style

  • Solution: This is normal! The AI rephrases jokes to match the current persona
