Welcome Types:

Channel First-Time Chatter: Users who have never chatted before (anywhere, ever)
Stream First-Time Chatter: Users chatting for the first time this stream
Returning Viewers: Users who have chatted before but aren't followers
New Followers: Users who just followed (via EventSub)

Note: The system automatically detects first-time chatters by checking chat history. Follower status is checked via Twitch API when available.

Welcome Types

Channel First-Time Chatter

Welcome users who have never chatted in your channel before (anywhere, ever).

Stream First-Time Chatter

Welcome users chatting for the first time in the current stream session.

Returning Viewer

Welcome users who have chatted before but are returning. Can include follower reminders.

New Follower

Welcome users who just followed (via EventSub webhook).

Follower Reminders

Enable Follower Reminders

For returning viewers who aren't followers, gently remind them to follow (e.g., "Hey! Why not give me a follow?")

Reminder Threshold: 2 chats

Only remind users to follow after they've chatted this many times (prevents spam).
